Access Social Care submits response to Judicial Review consultation – 29th April 2021

Individual need for access to justice is more acute than ever. Access Social Care have submitted a response to the government’s consultation on proposed judicial review changes. We responded in conjunction with seven organisations: Mencap, Carers UK, Dimensions, United Response, Choice Support, Milestones Trust and HfT, representing over 22,000 individuals and 29,000 carers.

The significant threat the proposals pose to individuals trying to access justice, combined with the short timescale for response, is extremely concerning. We urge the government to reconsider these proposals.
