Community Care Lawyers Group pop-up event
Training and networking event: Working together to make a difference!
Tuesday, 11th March, 1pm-6pm
Please do come to this free event which is being run in person and hybrid - with many thanks to Garden Court Chambers who will are kindly hosting this at their London office.
We have also set up regional hubs in Manchester and Bristol, where practitioners can meet up with local colleagues to network and participate in the event - thank you to Irwin Mitchell for providing these venues.
We are holding this at fairly short notice on Tuesday March 11th to give us an opportunity to consider the current MoJ fee consultation and what community care lawyers can do to contribute to that.
The consultation covers housing, immigration and asylum specifically, but it is important for Community Care lawyers to look at the principles and structures set out in the consultation, and to consider that approach for any future work by the MoJ in relation to Community Care law.
It’s also a good and timely excuse to get together, network and get some specialist training!
We would encourage you to respond, in the context of Community Care work - the deadline for consultations is 21 March 2025:
Attendance
If you would like to attend then please book your place here ASAP
There will be no charge for attending the conference.
If financial help with any costs, including travel, accommodation, caring responsibilities, disability support or to subsidise your time away from fee-earning work would make it more viable for you to join us, then please do contact Carol as ASC has some budget to assist.
