Government #transparency #nevermoreneeded
Access Social Care is a legal rights organisation fighting a freedom of information legal case against three government departments to ensure adequate funding for social care.
Every day millions of older and disabled people go without the social care they need. Civil society is broadly aligned that adult social care is underfunded by at least £8.4 Billion per year. The previous government maintained that it was adequately funding social care but refused to publish the maths.
This landmark law suit is about government transparency to ensure adequate funding for adult social care.
Our aim: To raise £30,000 in 30 days to support our fight and raise awareness of the need for government transparency and accountability to support adequate Adult social care funding.
