General Election 2024 - our view

After months of anticipation the general election has now been called. It will take place on Thursday 4th July 2024.

At Access Social Care, we are calling on all political parties to adequately fund social care so that older, disabled people, and carers get the high-quality support they have a right to.

We are also calling for adequately funded community care legal aid so that when public bodies get things wrong, citizens can access justice. Without access to justice the right to social care might as well not exist.
