Access Social Care responds to consultation on ‘Supporting local preparation – draft guidance’

Access Social Care have responded to the government’s consultation on draft guidance relating to the care cost cap. The draft guidance is designed to help local authorities navigate upcoming changes and reforms prior to 2023.  

The draft guidance addressed several measures local authorities may have to implement, including the outsourcing of Care Act 2014 needs assessments to third parties and an increase in data collection.
