Chris joined Travers Smith in 1983 and became the firm’s senior partner in 2013. Chris is a regular contributor to legal journals and lectures, notably at Oxford University, on company and private equity subjects.

Finance in Europe rates Chris as a 'Mergers and Acquisitions expert and Chambers Global and the Legal 500 rate Chris as among the world’s leading lawyers in private equity. Chris was a founding trustee of Access Social Care and now acts as Chair.
